Grandma's Farmhouse

Wayne Coley Art 14 May 2020

This was a painting of a friend's childhood farmhouse built in 1873 in Poughkeepsie, New York. The family requested that I include the St. Francis statue and the vine covered rock wall. Bob Ross Oils and Brushes were used exclusively. The painting now graces the wall of the farmhouse.

A real postcard from the seventies!! Superb depth in this painting! I live floor level so I'm not fond of extra floors but that porch looks almost just like the one I built!
Great work again Wayne!!

I like the effect how house can be seen through the airy spaces in the tree, it brings lightness to the composition.
Details are impressive!
